One way to reach us: email
info@venicetaxi.boats
We have no phone line, live chat or office open to the public. We’re an online editorial team and we reply in writing. There’s no contact form on the site either — just send an email from your usual mail app.
To help us answer quickly, put the topic in the subject line (for example “Correction – prices page” or “Question – arriving by train”) and, if it’s about a specific page, paste its address.
What we can help with
- Reporting a mistake on a page: a fare, a timetable, a pier, a broken link.
- Suggesting an update: a new service, an operator we haven’t reviewed, a change you’ve seen on the ground.
- Clarifying something we wrote, if the text isn’t clear.
- Privacy matters, such as access to or deletion of the data in emails you’ve sent us (see our privacy policy).
- Operators or platforms wanting to flag updated information. We use anything we can verify, but we never accept payment for reviews or placement.
What we can’t help with
We don’t sell anything directly and have no access to booking systems. So we cannot:
- change the time, passenger count or pickup point of a booking;
- cancel a service or issue a refund;
- contact your driver or tell you where your boat is;
- confirm that a taxi is available on a particular date.
For any of that, contact whoever holds your booking:
| You booked with… | Who to contact |
|---|---|
| GetYourGuide | GetYourGuide customer service, via the app or your booking confirmation |
| Tiqets | Tiqets customer service, via your booking confirmation |
| An operator directly | The operator, using the details on your voucher or their website |
Your voucher also shows the meeting point and the local operator’s contact details — keep it handy on the day.
Complaints about a water taxi
If the problem is with the service itself — the fare charged, the driver’s conduct, a boat that seems unlicensed — we’re not the right body. Water-taxi complaints go to the Comune di Venezia, which regulates the service; you’ll find the official channels in our guide to operators. If you booked online, tell the platform as well.
When to expect a reply
We usually answer within a few working days; in peak season it can take longer. If your question is about a trip that’s coming up soon, we can’t promise to reply in time — for anything urgent, always go to the platform or the operator.
We don’t reply to promotional messages, paid-link offers or sponsored-post pitches.
How we handle corrections
Every error report is checked against an official source or our partners’ data. If it holds up, we update the page; if it doesn’t, we’ll tell you why. You don’t need to be an expert — even “the sign at pier X has gone” is useful to us.
Before writing, it may be worth checking our pages on how to book a water taxi and water-taxi prices: many questions are answered there. To learn who we are and how we work, see about us.
