The site is not run by the Comune di Venezia, a water-taxi consortium or a transport company. See our disclaimer for details.

By browsing the site you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use it. We may update them when the way the site works changes; the version that applies is the one published on this page, dated at the top.
What the site provides
The site publishes free information on routes, fares, piers and water-transport services, together with links to booking platforms. It requires no registration and has no accounts, comments or forms.
The content is for information only. We prepare it carefully from the Comune’s official tariff, our partners’ data and public sources, but we can’t guarantee that it is always complete, current or error-free. Prices, timetables and conditions can change without notice.
Bookings and third parties
The site sells no services and takes no payments. Booking buttons and widgets lead to GetYourGuide or Tiqets, often via redirect links such as /go/….
When you book:
- your contract is with the platform and/or the local operator, not with us;
- the platform’s terms and conditions, cancellation rules and privacy policy apply;
- payments, changes, cancellations, refunds and complaints about the service must go to the platform or the operator.
We may earn a commission on bookings made through our links. This doesn’t change the price you pay or the terms that apply to you.
Permitted use
You’re welcome to read the site, print its pages and share links to it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- copy, republish or adapt our text, tables or calculations, in whole or in part, without our written consent;
- extract content by automated means (scraping) or use it to feed other services or databases;
- use the site in any way that harms its operation or security;
- present our content as official or as coming from an operator.
Short quotations with a credit and a link back to the original page are welcome.

Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and remain subject to their authors’ licences, listed on our photo credits page. Trademarks and trade names mentioned belong to their rightful owners.

The site links to third-party websites (platforms, operators, public bodies). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the editorial team of venicetaxi.boats is not liable for:

- services provided by third parties, including delays, cancellations, service failures or damage;
